This year, we hosted 30 classes in a 3-day period with a 2-day open audio visual lab, as well as Boom Lift and Fork Lift certificate training. Over 20 instructors were involved with teaching during this years workshop - including 2 instructors sent to us from Freeman Audio Visual to head-off our High Definition Video Class. This class covers the basics of audio and using audio systems. Handouts aredownloadable from this site. Click here for materials. | | Nov 6, 2006 5:00PM | IATSE 122 Winter Workshop 2005Audio for AV Everything AV | This was a great 2 day class hosted by MSI, VER, and TPS. Each class covered all of the basics in detail of using AV systems in the "breakout room" enviroment. Dec 14 was dedicated to using audio systems in AV, and covered all of the adapters, console & microphone use, and interfacing that you need to know in order to run an AV setup solo. Dec 15 was dedicated to video in the AV room, which included cameras, switchers, projectors, computers, and much more. There were many teachers involved with both of these classes with lots of opertunity for one-on-one hands-on instruction. Click here for all of the available Study Materials form the 2005 Winter Workshop | | Dec 14 & 15, 2005 10AM-3PM | VER Ultimate Workshop 2003 | This was a great all-day class hosted by Video Equipment Rentals. Intermediate level class on the latest gear in A/V. Gear use and techniques were covered with the latest projection, LED, video switching, and audio equipment available from VER. Class Materials: | | Dec 18, 2003 8AM-5PM | Audio Basics | This was a great half-day class taught by Brother Mark Hartshorn. Begining level class covering the basics in set-up and operation of an audio system. Important theory and rules of thumb that are normally missed on the job site are covered in detail.
