Current Members of the Education Committee:

The Education Committee is dedicated to increasing the skill level of all members of IATSE Local 122. This dedication is devoted to over-all stage techniques, as well as specific skill specializations. The Education Committee has a direct interest in both the Pre-Apprentice (Intern) and Apprentice programs. The general approach to this committee is to help everyone's experience, through education and encouragement, become a positive one, for both the employee and the employer.

All testing for Local 122 is handled through the education committee. For more information about member tests for Local 122, please see Testing Information. Tests are developed for the specific needs of our industry and are divided into department specific areas.

Due to the specific nature of the Education Committee and it's direct connection to Local 122's required tests, all committee members must be Journeyman Members of Local 122.
