Audio Intensive: Monitor Mixing for a Band

Join the Education Department, the Balboa Theater house crew and production management as we go through mixing techniques that will help maximize gain before feedback on a rock and roll style stage. We will have an actual band ready to rehearse at 3pm and we need to get the wedges loud and free of feedback!

Attendees must:

• Attend the stage patch class from 9am-12pm that same morning in order that they be familiar with the stage set. The class will be formatted to give attendees as much time on the mixing console as possible, therefore class size will be limited.
• Have been previously dispatched as an Audio Engineer for IATSE Local 122 or relevant mixing experience
• Applications will be approved by the Education Coordinator

This is an in person class offered at the Balboa Theater located at 868 Fourth Avenue, San Diego, CA, 92101 . Parking will not be reimbursed. Please take traffic and parking into consideration to arrive on time.
