Audio Intensive: Setting the Stage for Multiple Bands (Festival Style)

This class will focus on the signal flow and patching needs of an imaginary multi-act festival. We will simulate riser swaps, band stacking, and use analog snakes and splits, numerous sub snakes, and several stage racks. If you have patched a band through a snake or perhaps even mixed bands but may have not worked with the infrastructure required for multiple acts with multiple mixing consoles, then THIS IS THE CLASS FOR YOU.

Experienced audio technicians may take this later class only if already proficient at patching a 16-channel band. Students may sign up for both classes.

PLEASE NOTE:

• The learner must have worked a call from the referral hall, worked under a collective bargaining agreement, or be a current member of IATSE Local 122.
• This is an in-person class. This class has limited attendance and all attendees must have a reservation; therefore, it will be treated like a job call.
• If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket or email education@iatselocal122.org.
• Tardiness and/or No-Call-No-Show will be reported to the IATSE Local 122 Compliance Committee.
