RIGG 068 Convention Center Boom Lift Rigging
October 30 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
The San Diego Convention Center is a great place to learn how to rig in ballrooms and convention halls. The ceilings are not too high, the floor is fairly level, and the attachment points are exposed and it is an iconic union venue. We are fortunate enough to call it our workplace and are pleased to continue rigging education in it’s halls.
This class will focus on:
- Boom Lift driving
- Wheel placement
- Obstacle avoidance
- Lift Basket Placement
- Smooth Operation
- Ceiling attachment
Although not required for attendance, please bring any rigging equipment you may have, such as truss tools, helmet, harness, rope, and associated accessories to class.
