Local 122 Young Workers Committee (YWC)

The Purpose of the Young Workers Committee (YWC) is the promotion of trade unionism through civic outreach, volunteering and political activism. The goal of the YWC is to foster the tenets of trade unionism within local 122 and throughout the community. The YWC is a portal through which interested parties can find opportunities to engage in civic action, political action and volunteering. The YWC is a resource for stagehands to understand what it means to be a member of a union, how that relates to their community and how to be a part of the member body.
