Prerequisite Framework

Climbing Modules: The Fall Protection Essentials class is a strict mandatory prerequisite for the Basic Climber and Roof Build classes unless you hold active ETCP, SPRAT, or ARATA rigging credentials, or a waiver from the Rigging Committee.

Deck Modules: The Scaffolding Deck Build & Lead class has no prerequisites and is open to all applicants.

Workshop Schedule & Class Directory
Review the course focuses below before proceeding to the registration page:

1. Fall Protection Essentials: Arena & Staging Safety
Focus: OSHA compliance, harness inspection, arena/staging safety, and rescue planning.

Status: Required for all non-certified climbing track applicants.

2. Scaffolding Deck Build & Lead Class
Focus: Crew mechanics, step-by-step deck assembly/teardown, troubleshooting, and crew leadership.

Status: Open to all skill levels (No prerequisites).

3. Basic Climber Class
Focus: Tower climbing safety, 100% tie-off procedures, rigger work processes, and safe ground return.

Status: Prerequisites apply. Path to advanced tower and roof builds.

4. Roof Build Class
Focus: Ground-simulation training for assembling, configuring, and striking temporary staging roof structures.

Status: Advanced prerequisites apply (Fall Protection + Basic Climber).
