DESCRIPTION:Enhance your professional credentials and ensure compliance with county regulations by securing your OSHA-10 Hour General Industry card. As of January 1\, 2024\, this certification is a compulsory requirement for all individuals engaged in work on county properties. We strongly encourage all workers who have not yet obtained their OSHA-10 card to enroll in our upcoming class. \nBRING SNACKS!!! \nThis comprehensive 2-day safety awareness course is rapidly becoming an industry standard within the Entertainment sector\, with certain venues making it a prerequisite for employment. Facilitated by our experienced education department\, the program covers essential safety practices and principles relevant to the General Entertainment Industry\, equipping you with the knowledge to maintain a safe working environment. \nBRING YOUR LUNCH!!! \nThere will be two 15 minute breaks each day. Students are encouraged to bring food to sustain themselves during class. \nTHERE WILL BE NO LUNCH BREAK\, YOU MAY EAT IN CLASS!!! \nClass Schedule: \n\nWeds\, Oct 7\, 9:00AM to 4:00PM\nThurs\, OCT 8\, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM\n\nLocation: \nSan Diego and Imperial Counties Labor Council Meeting Room \n3737 Camino Del Rio South #201 (Second Floor) \nSan Diego\, CA 92108 \nThe Lerner must attend the entirety of both days in order to be issued an OSHA-10 card. \nThis class has limited capacity and as such it will be treated like a job call regarding call out procedures\, tardiness and no call no show. \nREGISTER HERE \nRequirements: \n\nThe learner must have worked a call from the referral hall\, worked under a collective bargaining agreement\, or be a current member of IATSE Local 122.\nThis is an in-person class offered at the IATSE Referral Hall.
