SUMMARY:Video 30: Fundamental Video Concepts
DESCRIPTION:This is an entry level class that is designed for individuals new to IATSE Local 122 or new to the audio department. “Audio 30 – Intro to Audio”\, or a small level of experience working on audio crews\, is required to take this class. \nCompletion of this class begins to prepare the individual for the technical knowledge required to work with audio systems. Individuals are not expected to work alone upon completion of this class\, however the individual is expected to be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of audio systems and their components. Individuals will begin to learn the working technical theories that are key to using audio systems. Individuals will learn about the “basic sound system”\, it’s variations\, and the variety of cabling conventions used. Topics of signal chain\, gain structure\, routing\, powering\, and basic setup are covered. \nUpon completion of this class\, individuals are expected to be able to identify all major parts of an audio system\, and be able to work with an experienced supervisor to setup a small to medium sized sound system. DESCRIPTION:Enhance your professional credentials and ensure compliance with county regulations by securing your OSHA-10 Hour General Industry card. As of January 1\, 2024\, this certification is a compulsory requirement for all individuals engaged in work on county properties. We strongly encourage all workers who have not yet obtained their OSHA-10 card to enroll in our upcoming class. \nThis comprehensive 2-day safety awareness course is rapidly becoming an industry standard within the Entertainment sector\, with certain venues making it a prerequisite for employment.
