IATSE 122’s ‘Audio 10: Intro to Audio’ class is a foundational course tailored for those beginning their path in the audio industry. In this 2-hour entry-level class, you will gain essential knowledge and skills necessary to work effectively on an audio crew, guided by the supervision of experienced professionals.   • Recall Safety Protocols: Remember general safety guidelines and specific safety measures related to audio work.
  • Understand Audio Terminology: Identify key audio terms and their meanings, such as signal flow, gain structure, and different types of audio signals (mic level, line level, speaker level).

  • The learner must have worked a call from the referral hall, worked under a collective bargaining agreement, or be a current member of IATSE Local 122.
  • This is an in person class. This class has limited attendance and all attendees must have a reservation; therefore, it will be treated like a job call.
