Carpentry 10: Introduction to The Carpentry Department

Required tools for this class: Tape measure, pen or pencil. Minimum Tools.

This class is taught by Gillian Kelleher, Head Carpenter at the Old Globe Tech Center.

Completion of this class will help prepare referents to work in the Carpentry department by creating familiarity with the structure of the carpentry department, the commonly used tools and materials, as well as the concepts, procedures, and protective equipment used to facilitate safety in the workplace.

PLEASE NOTE:

• The learner must have worked a call from the referral hall, worked under a collective bargaining agreement, or be a current member of IATSE Local 122.
• This class has limited attendance and all attendees must have a reservation; therefore, it will be treated like a job call. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket or email education@iatse122.org.
• Tardiness and/or No-Call-No-Show will be reported to the IATSE Local 122 Compliance Committee.
