MEWP Operator Certification Class (Classroom only)

This MEWP Operator Class, tailored for stewards and department heads, is essential for those who oversee MEWP operations in their departments. The class focuses on key aspects of safely operating mobile elevated work platforms, covering both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Attendees will be required to pass a practical exam, demonstrating their proficiency in MEWP operation. The scheduling of these practical exams will be arranged on the day of the class. Successfully completing this course and obtaining the certification is mandatory for anyone responsible for supervising MEWP use in their department.

PLEASE NOTE:
- The learner must have worked a call from the referral hall, worked under a collective bargaining agreement, or be a current member of IATSE Local 122.
- This class has limited attendance and all attendees must have a reservation; therefore, it will be treated like a job call. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket or email education@iatse122.org.
- Tardiness and/or No-Call-No-Show will be reported to the IATSE Local 122 Compliance Committee.
