Video 10: Introduction to Video Crew

This introductory course, brought to you by the Education Department, is designed to equip you with the necessary skills to be an effective member of the video crew. Learn everything from identifying key video equipment to understanding the essentials of power requirements.”

The course will also delve into the use of distribution amplifiers, scalers, switchers, and converters, explaining their roles in a production setting. Additionally, you’ll gain insight into crew composition, responsibilities, and procedures for load-in and load-out. Perfect for newcomers and those looking to refresh their knowledge, this course sets the foundation for a competent and confident approach to video production tasks.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The learner must have worked a call from the referral hall, worked under a collective bargaining agreement, or be a current member of IATSE Local 122.
  • This is an in person class. This class has limited attendance and all attendees must have a reservation; therefore, it will be treated like a job call.
  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket or email education@iatse122.org.
  • Tardiness and/or No-Call-No-Show will be reported to the IATSE Local 122 Compliance Committee.
