Get Help With Your Prescriptions!
Posted
On: Mar 12, 2009 (13:06:00)
Recently, our presciption coverage has taken a turn that has left our employees in a situation they simply can not afford to be in. Many have seen their Rx costs triple at least. Simply walking into the Kaiser pharmacy with a prescription from their doctor has been enough to cause a heart attack. Well, there is another option. Instead of allowing your doctor to transfer your prescriptions directly to the Kaiser pharmacy, let them know that you need a written presciption so that you may use a non-kaiser pharmacy. Your health insurance may not provide you with any costs benefit with an outside pharmacy, but the direct cost from an outside pharmancy may be less expensive than using your insurance with a Kaiser pharmacy. One excellent example, as found by Brother Bob Barton, is the Rite-Aid Pharmacy. Rite-Aid offers a Free Rx Savings Card which does not require any type of membership fee. With this program, you can save on more than 500 common prescriptions. Click here for a list of covered medications. Advantages include: - Pay just $8.99 for 30-days of select generics, and $15.99 for 90 days.
- Save 20% on other name brand and generic prescription medications.
- Save 10% on Rite Aid Brand products every day.
