Location: Union office Employment applications will NOT be accepted on June 23, 2010. Applicants may come in between 9am-11:30am and 12pm-4pm on this day and pick up an application ONLY. Limited Enrollment Class - Introduction to Lighting Control and the Ion

There will be a limited enrollment class this Monday, July 12, at 5:00PM. This class will be held at the Balboa Theater. The class is called "Introduction to Lighting Controland the Ion". As of Friday, July 9, there were only 5 spots available. If you are interested in attending, please call Brother Franklin Gray directly at 619-865-7422.

Happy 4th of July The IATSE Local 122 meetings have been moved back one week in observance of Independance Day. The General Meeting and Training Meeting will be help on Monday, July 12, 2010. The E-Board Meeting will be held on Monday, July 19, 2010. Thank You, IATSE Local 122

Brother Nostradamus (Benny) Abrahano

Hello to all,
Unfortunately this post brings sad news. Brother Benny Abrahano's daughter and her husband just stopped by the office to inform us that Benny passed away due to complications of a previous heart attack on April 24, 2010. Benny was 69 years old. There will be a viewing on Friday, May 7 2010 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Featheringill Mortuary, College Center Chappel. 619-583-9511. College Center Chapel

San Diego, CA 92115 Services will be held after the viewing at Cypress View Mausoleum, on May 7, 2010 at 3:00pm. The family does not have the full monetary funds to cremate or bury Benny. At this time, we are collecting funds at the office to help provide him with a proper burial. Checks should be made payable to IATSE Local #122, or cash donations will be collected and saved to give to the family directly. Thank you for your support.
